Angela Wheat

Angela is a highly experienced beauty and complementary therapist who has worked in the beauty industry for the last 33 years. Her extensive depth and breadth of knowledge and experience has enabled her to undertake a variety of roles within the beauty industry which include: working as a therapist, salon manager, teacher, author, assessor and examiner both in private and public sectors. Angela also works as a consultant for City and Guilds for beauty therapy and Sterex. Until July 2007 Angela ran a very successful beauty and complementary therapies department comprising of 5 salons and 20 staff at West Kent College F.E. College, Tonbridge, Kent, where she developed the department’s reputation for offering high quality training and helped to establish its position as one of the top Colleges in the South East of England.

Angela now uses her extensive experience and knowledge of the industry to run her own beauty business and training academy offering high quality service and a broad range of both beauty and complementary therapies treatments and training courses.

Angela states “I am in the fortunate position of having experienced many areas of good practice both in F.E. training Colleges and salons, on which to base my business practice. Gemini Beauty aims to make each client feel that they have had their treatment expectations exceeded and that clients will wish to return to spend time with us, having either repeat or new treatments time after time. Service in this country is generally poor compared to abroad and we aim to offer premium quality and service at a reasonable price using high quality products”.

Angela is a member of the International Federation of Health and Beauty Therapists and the British Institute Association of Electrolysis. Angela is also on the National Advisory board for beauty therapy and on the board of the British Institue Association of Electrolysis.

Sarah Wheat

Sarah is a nail technician with over 7 years experience. She is NVQ qualified to Level 3 standards in Acrylic, Gel & Fibreglass systems; and also to Level 2 in Manicure & Pedicure.

Sarah trained under the expert tutelage of Denise Wright, winner of British Nail Technician of the Year 13 years in a row, face of NSI products and University of Greenwich approved lecturer. Sarah also has experience as an assistant educator at NVQ Levels 2 and 3.

She specialises in Acrylic and Gel nails, and can provide everything from classic and chic styles right up to more daring nail art - Maybe you prefer the classic French Manicure look all year round? Or perhaps you’re looking for something a bit more unique? Whether it’s glitter Acrylic/Gel to give you some extra sparkle, or more elaborate designs for your wedding, hen do, girls night in, catwalk show, or theme night… Whatever the occasion, the only limit is your imagination!

Due to popular demand, Sarah is now offering a mobile service as well as being available at the Gemini-Beauty Salon for selected appointments. Party bookings are also available.
