Nail Training Courses
NVQ Level 2 & 3

• We run NVQ units in level 2 nail and level 3 nail technology courses. Day courses and workshops are available. Both on a one to one or group basis.
• Level 2 NVQ course involves training in one method: acrylic (the most popular) or gel or fibre glass to a commercially viable standard, and also provides the theory knowledge for the other methods.
• Level 3 NVQ course involves training in all three systems to a commercially viable standard plus all relevant underpinning knowledge.
• You would need to undertake practical training with Denise who is our expert, having been British Champion Nail Tech 13 times and is currently an International Trainer, Assessor and Internal Verifier.
• There are two training pathways designed to meet your individual needs.
• Path 1 - works on a pay as you go basis to allow you to progress at your own pace.
• Pathway 1 commences with an application skills workshop, followed by a maintenance workshop. Additional courses are available to enable you to develop further skills with a view to progression towards a national Qualification if desired.
• Path 2 - is a complete training programme which gives you all the training and assessment opportunities you need to gain a NVQ qualification.
• An induction session is compulsory for technicians of all levels of experience to ensure commercial viability and to ensure all technicians meet new national industry standards.
• Pathway 2 requires all candidates to demonstrate competency in a variety of ranges on clients. These will take the form of case studies with photographic evidence.
• Practical and written assessments and assignments are also required to achieve a National qualification.

Generic Fees include;

1. Life time registration with awarding body - £16.00
2. Level 2 qualification registration - £80.00
3. Level 3 qualification registration - £100.00

Pathway 1 Fees

• Application skills workshop including kit - £250.00
• Follow up maintenance skills workshop - £150.00

Pathway 2 Fees

• Complete Level 2 Nail Tech unit - £850.00
• Complete Level 3 Nail Tech unit - £2250.00

Progression from a level 2 to a level 3 qualification (including additional training and assessment days in all systems) costs £1700.00

Advanced day courses for experienced technicians are available. These include; Glitz and Glam, Airbrushing, Competition training and general refresher courses.
